Brid ferch Glyn (she/her) is a sapphic romance writer and podcaster based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa (Wellington, New Zealand). Her work is propelled by a lifelong obsession with storytelling.
As a sapphic lovergirl and sex worker, she craves heartfelt, steamy romances that are dialed in to the humanity and real experiences of her communities. Facing a slew of disappointments from tales that never quite met the mark, she decided to write her own.
Brid’s audio interviewing hones in on everything hidden and human. Her podcast spotlights locals from all walks of life, fostering bold, honest conversations about shame and censorship by supporting full anonymity for guests if they choose it.
Brid also provides sex education for adults, dabbles in non-fiction, and works a variety of R18 side gigs. She is a proud wearer of many labels: cymraes, dyke, slut, disabled person and giant woman.
Brid was raised between Te Tai Poutini, Te Moana-a-Toi, Ceredigion and Ōtautahi, before attending Ōtākau Whakaihu Waka. She lives in Pōneke with her beloved wife, an indefatigable sense of wonder, and an ever-expanding list of DIY projects.
